Group/Conference Room Reservation

  • Group accommodation and seminar room reservations can be made by submitting the application form after telephone consultation (02-2677-1744).
    For group reservation inquiries: Tel. 02-2677-1744, Email: hiseoulyh@gmail.com VAT exemption is available for youth groups.
    Hostel site visits can be conducted only for groups using the facilities after making a reservation over the phone. (Visiting without a reservation is not allowed.)
  • If you use a youth group, you can be exempted from VAT.
  • Pre-survey can be conducted after making a reservation over the phone only for groups using it. (You cannot visit without a reservation.)

Frequently Asked questions about the Conference Rooms

  • Q. Availability of Split Usage
    A. Split usage is not allowed. The conference room usage fee is applied only in blocks of 4 hours, 9 hours, or 13 hours, including meal times. If you use the room beyond the originally reserved time, additional charges will automatically apply.
  • Q. Available Hours
    A. The conference room can be rented for use between 09:00 and 22:00.
  • Q. Paid service
    A. An additional fee is required for a water dispenser (including hot and cold water, 18.9L per bottle - 11,000 KRW) and a laptop (11,000 KRW per hour). Please note that the number of laptops is limited, so it is recommended to inquire in advance.
  • Q. Pre-Setup Time
    A. On the day of your conference room booking, you will be provided with approximately 1 hour for setup. If additional setup time is required, you must book the conference room for the extra time and pay the corresponding fee.

Conference Room Usage Guide

When using the rooms and facilities at Hi Seoul Youth Hostel, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Hi Seoul Youth Hostel, as a youth accommodation facility, prohibits smoking and drinking inside the building (including rooms and conference rooms). Violations may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
  • The bringing of food, beverages, and flammable materials into the conference room is prohibited. However, light refreshments (such as tea, candy, etc.) are allowed.
  • Noisy activities that cause inconvenience to other facility users (such as the use of unauthorized equipment) are prohibited.
  • In the event of damage to facilities or property, compensation must be made either by restoring them to their original condition or by paying the current market value.
  • After using furniture and equipment, they must be returned to the front desk.
  • After using the conference room, please ensure that the facilities are tidied up and that all trash is properly collected and disposed of in the designated area (next to the hallway trash bin).
  • The conference room may only be used for the purpose for which it was approved. Any violation of this may result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation.
  • Conference room usage times must be strictly observed. If you need to use the room beyond the allocated time, prior approval is required, and additional usage fees must be paid based on the facility usage rate.
  • After using the conference room, please contact the front desk to have the equipment and tidiness checked.
  • The use of double-sided tape for attaching banners is prohibited. If you need to attach anything to the conference room walls, please consult with front desk staff. Damages caused by improper attachment may result in charges.

Cancellation Fee Policy

  • Individual
    1. Cancellation and change 4 days before the date of stay: no penalty
    2. Cancellation and change two to three days before the date of stay: 30% of the total rate
    3. Cancellation and change the day before the stay: 50% of the total rate
    4. Cancellation and change on the day of stay: 80% of the total rate
    5. After 24:00 on the day of stay: 100% imposed
  • For Groups
    1. Cancellation or changes 30 days before the usage date: No cancellation fee.
    2. Cancellation or changes from 29 to 16 days before the usage date: 10% of the total fee.
    3. Cancellation or changes from 15 to 8 days before the usage date: 20% of the total fee.
    4. Cancellation or changes from 7 to 4 days before the usage date: 50% of the total fee.
    5. Cancellation or changes from 3 days before the usage date to the day of use: 100% of the total fee.
    In cases of climate change, natural disasters, infectious diseases, or when normal hotel operations are not possible, reservations may be canceled or hotel facility usage may be restricted according to the hotel's cancellation policy.
